Stay and Serve in Masindi, Uganda

Experience the heart of OneWorld Health’s work in Uganda by joining us in Masindi. This area, known for its rich agricultural landscape and slower pace of life, is where we established our first facility in 2011. Located 4.5 hours from Entebbe Airport, Masindi offers a glimpse into rural Ugandan life while allowing you to make a significant impact through our healthcare programs.

Itinerary

Friday:
Team meeting in the U.S. before departure to discuss trip objectives and preparation.
Saturday:
Arrive in Entebbe and enjoy an overnight stay at a local hotel.
SUNDAY:
Travel to Masindi, team bonding, and preparation for the week ahead.
Mon — Fri:
Engage in outreach activities in various rural communities, using local schools and churches as bases for care.
Saturday:
Explore Murchison Falls National Park on a sunset safari, celebrating your week of service.
Sunday:
Begin the journey home with memories and experiences that will last a lifetime.
Monday:
Arrival at home airports, reflecting on the impact made.
