OneWorld Health offers customized volunteer trips for companies, families, and groups seeking meaningful healthcare outreach in Honduras. With a minimum of 15 volunteers, you’ll help run a full-service outreach clinic using our Mobile Clinic and local staff, bringing life-saving care to underserved communities.

What to Expect on Your Trip

Your private trip to Uganda will give you a firsthand experience of our healthcare initiatives and the communities we serve. Based in Masindi or Kyenjojo, you’ll visit several of our key projects, including our Masindi, Kitara Hospital.
Outreach Days

Participate in 2 or more days of outreach, offering primary care, maternal health services, chronic disease management, and more. Volunteers with medical or non-medical backgrounds are vital to running these clinics efficiently.

Flexible Itinerary

Tailor your experience with options such as cultural excursions, family-friendly activities, or extended days of service. Whether your goal is healthcare-focused or cultural immersion, we’ll work with you to design a trip that meets your group’s unique goals.

Fully Supported

Our experienced Trip Director and local staff will guide you through each step of the outreach experience, ensuring that your time with us is well-organized and impactful.

Create a Lasting Impact

Groups are required to have a minimum of 15 volunteers, allowing us to create a full-service outreach clinic together. With our local staff, you’ll be directly involved in bringing life-changing care to communities that otherwise wouldn’t have access.

Accommodations

During your stay, you’ll be hosted in one of the comfortable local hotels, all featuring fans, mosquito nets, private bathrooms, and local dining options. Choose from several locations, including:
Masindi Hotel

A hotel with a long-lasting relationship with OneWorld Health featuring a robust menu and wonderful staff.

Kabalega Resort

Also located in Masindi, this hotel is equipped with small cottages, rooms, pool, a football field and menu with American and Ugandan menu.

Tooro Royal Cottages

Located in Kyenjojo, this hotel known for its round shape has a pool, gym and beautiful scenery.

Based in Siguatepeque, you’ll visit several of our key projects, including our urban clinic and telehealth center, as well as our Mobile Clinic that brings healthcare to remote areas.
