Isaac's Journey to Recovery at Bweyale Kitara Medical Centre

At just seven months old, Isaac faced a critical health crisis. His mother, a cleaner, brought him to Bweyale Kitara Medical Centre at the recommendation of his aunt, who had a previous experience with our compassionate care.
Isaac arrived at the clinic with a high-grade fever, irritability, and severe diarrhea, having already been treated at multiple other facilities without improvement. After a thorough examination, our medical team tested him for typhoid and discovered a positive result. With this diagnosis, we immediately began treatment via intravenous antibiotics and hydration.
Thanks to the dedicated care he received, Isaac’s condition improved significantly, and he was discharged with a treatment plan for ongoing recovery.
During a follow-up with our Telehealth team, Isaac’s mother reported that her son was doing well, and expressed regret for the time and money she had spent on earlier, ineffective treatments. Today, she encourages other parents to seek help for their children at our facility.
Isaac’s story highlights the true importance of timely medical care. Your support enables us to provide critical services that save lives throughout several communities. Thank you for helping children like Isaac receive the treatment they need.
